Facebook is a popular social networking site that is also
used my major corporations’ to market and collect research about their product.
I have applied this to my magazine by creating a Facebook profile for it. My
aim is to gather feedback about my magazine through comments posted on the
page. This should enable me to decide what aspects have worked well on my
magazine and what could be done in the future issues to improve it. This should
give me a better idea of if my magazine has been a success in appealing to my
target market and roughly if it would gain a percentage of the music magazine
market if it was published.

cover 11th draft
After getting feedback on my last draft i decided to make the 'Twin Atlantic .' heading bigger , bolder and with a background to make it easier to read and make it standout on the page more. I did this after comments about it being previously being to small to read and not standing out on the page. Furthermore after looking at existing magazine covers that are the same genera i decided to make a banner across the bottom informing the reader what other bands and featured inside. This should help to increase its appeal to my target market as it shows the variety of bands featured and hopefully thus will appeal to fans of various bands.
cover 9th draft
i have added a off white scribble effect background behind my strap line so that not only is it easier to read but it also emphasizes it as its more bold and eye-catching. I chose to use a scribble effect over a block of colour as the band has a flamboyant energetic style which i think the scribble expresses better. Also it gives the cover a more personal feel and look as the scribble is intended to look as though it has been hand done.

After asking for feedback from members of my target audience i decided to change the sub heading colours from red to white aswell as the textured effect lines dividing the page into its grid layout. As the page was said to be 'to overwhelming' with to much red being used it made the page look to busy and the order between what was most important to least important lost. So i changed it so the most important information was in red with the subheadings and captions in a bright white which still stands out against the background and light grey text. I chose white as it follows my colour scheme and compliments the other colours used on the contents page.

I like the clear house style which automaticly tells the reader what magazine it is, thus the logo doesnt need to be as big and gives more room for everything els. I also like the positioning and inclusion of the magazines website which is on the banner with the heading making it clear though the subtal colour means it doesnt overpower the heading. contents page 8th draft
